Caleb Graduates

Caleb had his last preschool graduation this year. It's amazing to me how quickly time flies and to think that he is going to be in kindergarten is unbelievable. I think when he actually goes I will cry. It was a wonderful day and he had the best teacher ever. He loved going to school and she had an amazing program that made it so they not only learned but they left thinking they were the best. I can't wait to see what is next in his life.

Hiking

This is twin bridges, I think that is what John called it. I hadn't ever noticed them before but thought they were pretty neat.

Here is the family getting ready to hike.

My kids new favorite thing to do is hike. I don't know why, I only like doing something that doesn't require a lot of work on my part. Hiking fits into that category, that is why I ride instead of walk. We did find a trail that wasn't to far from home and on a nice spring day(one of the few) we went on this trail up by Heise. It was only 3 miles and as you can see I lived through it because I'm writing about it.

My Superhero

Caleb decided that he wanted to be a superhero and that he could accomplish that with one of my towels. He brought it in to me and then had me tie it on him. I asked him what his superhero name was and here it is in all it's glory.....TOWEL BOY...what a name.

I forget sometimes how beautiful winter can be. Sunday morning we woke up the sun was shining and everything was beautiful. So I took some pictures outside our house. I'm so grateful that God gives us all seasons to enjoy and can make even a cold morning glisten. What a beautiful place to live.

Here is the rest of Christmas pictures. I think that I have finally caught up last year, yeah!!!! Hopefully now I can keep up with it this year instead of getting so far behind.

Here is Christmas morning at our house and then some from Christmas dinner and gifts with Austin side of the family.

I can't believe I have almost caught up the year.
This is our Christmas with the Fullmer's. We had it at John's sister Deanna's house this year and it was a great time with great food. The kids had a fun time with their cousins and got pj's for Christmas, nothing better for bedtime and dreams of presents the next day.

I can't believe that we are having our last preschool program. Caleb is going to go to Kindergarten next year and I'm definitely not adding anymore to the group so we enjoy the lasts with him. He is a funny kid and this year is so serious about doing what he is supposed to do. I told him before he went to sit down to sing loud for me and he told me that they were supposed to sing nicely not loud! I guess I just had to listen more closely, he loves to sing.

These are a few of the family pictures we had taken this fall. Annie graciously came back from Boise on her birthday and took pictures. I really hate having my picture taken so we haven't had family pictures since I was pregnant with Austin. She did a wonderful job and now I have to decide which one I want to get enlarged for over our fireplace. Decisions, decisions.

Caleb's Philosophy on Marriage

After Todd & Morgan got married, I brought home a picture of the two of them. One morning before school, Caleb and I were sitting on the couch and he was looking at the picture. He's asking me questions about getting whiskers when he gets older and important things for a 5 year old. He then says to me, "will I get married someday?" I said sure you will just make sure and pick a girl who loves Jesus. He sits for a minute and then looks at me and says, "will you help me find a girl?" I told him of course I would (I don't think at 20 he will think that it's a great idea that his mom help but for now it's great). Then he says Todd picked good, Morgan loves Jesus. Jeff picked good because Tausha loves Jesus and Grandpa picked really really good because Grandma loves Jesus and she buys us stuff. I laughed so hard. All the important things!

The weekend we went to Lagoon we also went to Hill Airforce Base, the kids liked the planes outside but there was a lot inside and they got tired before we could finish but it was really neat. I think when they get a little older we will go back again.

This was our trip to Lagoon, the kids get really tired of me taking pictures and half the time I can't get them to smile and stand still. They drive me crazy!!!!
