Our trip to Jackson

We spent the day in Jackson when Jeff & Tausha came to visit. We had a fun day. We all went down the Alpine slide and the kids would have spent all day doing that. The only down side is it costs a lot of money to keep going down and since we were on a budget that day we had to say no. The picture with Todd's hand in the air is him beating Jeff to the bottom. There is discussion mostly from Jeff that Todd didn't win but for all standing at the bottom (which was all of us) Todd won barely. They are like a pair of little kids. I was a bad picture taker that day, for some reason I didn't get any of Jeff and Tausha. Sorry guys.

Here he is with all his loot. He is such a good kid and happy most of the time. I will sure miss having a baby around but I think unfortunately he will always be that because he is the last. Thanks to all the family that came it was a fun day.

Caleb turns 5

This was Caleb's birthday party. We went to the splash park in Rexburg. It would have been great except we chose the day that was cold and windy. Not much fun for little kids. Especially mine, they don't like to be cold.

We have officially broke in all the new memebers of the family! This is Jeff & Tausha and the ride we took to Mesa Falls. We had a great time. Fortunately for the newbies we have a great horse that just takes care of whoever is on him. We never worry about him doing anything crazy and when something crazy happens then he just waits until its over and the does his thing and keeps the safe.

Soccer is in full swing and both Austin and Kaitlyn are playing this year. It is Austin's second year and he is more confident than Kaitlyn. Hopefully next year she will want to kick the ball more. It has been fun to watch them play, although we have a tendancy to yell from the sidelines to much. Nothing bad we just get very involved. I'm sure some day we will be very embarassing to them all.

This was Todd's girlfriend Morgan's first horse ride ever. We took her up to Harriman State Park and had a great time. We are grateful we have a horse that just takes care of whoever we put on him. Not only was it a great time but we got to stop at Big Judd's and have pastrami burgers, real fries and ice cream. Yummi, love that place.

I have officially become the world's worst blogger! Oh well, it is summer and I can't keep up with anything. I will try to cover what has been going on in the last couple of months right now. First set of pictures are of our newest addition to the family. Goatie is his name and he is a goat. We decided to get a goat because we are not a dog family and we told Megan she could get something, so here is her something. I like him for the most part, except when he eats my flowers or climbs on my van. Which he has been known to do on occasion. He thinks it is quite awesome to be king of the world or at least king of the van world. This day John was irrigating the field and we always end up with a big lake in the back which the kids think is a great swimming pool. So being great parents, we let them swim in the poopy irrigation water. Yeah us!!!

I

In the last picture I told John I was taking a picture so he sucked in and I started laughing so Austin did it too. It was funny and then John told me not to post it. I have selective listening skills like my kids.

My mom telling me that old people still like to kiss, we were waiting outside the temple while the couple was taking pictures.

I thought Tausha's red shoes were sooo cute. Jeff was shaking his booty at the camera he is such a dork.

Jeff's Wedding

This is Tausha's family. Todd trying to be helpful to the photographer and smiling and posing the whole time, what a ham.

I missed but my dad had bunny ears above my mom but I was too slow taking the picture. Doesn't he think he is funny.

This was the reception center in Utah it was beautiful and the weather was great that night.

Here are some before the wedding and reception, Todd couldn't get his cuff links on so dad helped him. OOOOOH what a good dad!!! Tausha with her curlers in she had to go get her marriage liscense with those any but at least she was still cute.

Well, we had a birthday at our house. It was Kaitlyn's 9th b-day on March 17. Unfortunately for her I was very very sick. So on her birthday she only got a happy birthday and nothing else. But the Friday before she had a sleepover with two friends. The older they get the less friends I can handle at one time. I think they had a good time. We got pizza and movies. They painted toe nails and I made carmel popcorn for the movie time. I think they stayed up well past their normal bedtime but since out basement is finished I can't hear them all that well so I don't care. But on her b-day they had dance so I took them down and made John bring them home because I could barely sit in the car long enough to get them there but she was a trooper and told me that it was ok that she would take a cake whenever I felt better. What a nice child she is. Well apparently John felt bad about the cake situation and took her to Broulim's after dance and told her she could pick out any cake she wanted but she just cried and cried. When they got home we finally understood that she wanted to wait for me to make her cake because she hates frosting so I always make her coffee cake which doesn't have any frosting and she thought that if she had a cake from Broulims then she wouldn't get one made. Oh well. We ended up making her a cake on Thursday and my mom and dad ate with us and she got her presents from them and then on Saturday her Grandma and Grandpa Fullmer came over and she had a nice time with them as well. I was just proud of her when I didn't feel well that she just kept saying it was fine and that she loved me and wanted me to get better what a great child.

I have a funny story! Austin and Caleb were going down the stairs yesterday and Caleb fell. Apparently he hit his bum and pretty hard if his screaming was any indication. Austin says to him, I sure hope you don't have to have bum surgery. Caleb was all serious for a minute and told Austin that there isn't a surgery for bums. So Austin in reply says "tell me this then if it isn't bum surgery than why do they call it bum surgery?" I don't think anyone had a reply.

I haven't posted anything in forever! We haven't really had anything going on except that we are all sick of winter. We have been completing rooms in our house. The project that never seems to end. For those of you who don't know, we bought an old farm house and have spent the last year and half gutting most of it and redoing it. The upstairs has been finished for awhile but we had to move everyone upstairs and make part of the living room into a kids room for the girls. We have moved them all downstairs can I just say Hallelujah!!!!!! It is nice to actually have too to breathe and watch a movie not all camped out on my bed! We have some space although at times this renovation was painful. I will post pictures soon and I'm so grateful that I have a do it all husband. I think he has learned everything from plumbing to trim work and a refresher on electrical but we did everything but installing windows and carpet ourselves. I think we are crazy and I'm sure that those of you who saw where we started will total agree. Having some land made it all worth it. (I think but don't ask John)

Megan & Kaitlyn with their loot.
Dad, Tausha, Jeff and Austin

Caleb very excited to open any present just give him something

We had a great time at Grandpa and Grandma Austin's. We all opened presents and had dinner together. For some reason I didn't have any pictures from Grandpa and Grandma Fullmer's on my camera but we had fun with them on Christmas Eve and all the cousins. We also attended a Christmas Eve service at church and were thankful that we could all have a reminder of why we really celebrate Christmas.
